• Do I need an account to get in touch?

  No. Enquiries do not require an account. You tell us where you are up to, a MedNexus mentor reads it and replies. Accounts arrive later, and only for students who need to submit a statement securely or track a review in progress.

• How quickly do personal-statement reviews come back?

  Written feedback is currently expected within 3 days. Turnaround can vary with demand and with how complete the draft you send us is — if it is going to take longer, we tell you before you commit.

• Are the prices final?

  No. Everything shown is provisional while MedNexus is still setting up. Any confirmed price will be shown clearly before you are asked to agree to anything, and nothing is charged for making an enquiry.

• Who actually gives the feedback?

  MedNexus mentors — current medical students at Southampton who went through this process recently. You work with them directly. There is no call centre and no outsourced marking.

• Is the personal-statement review AI-generated?

  No. The review is AI-assisted, but every piece of feedback is read, guided and signed off by a MedNexus mentor before it reaches you. The judgement is a person's.

• Do you guarantee a medical-school offer?

  No, and you should be wary of anyone who does. MedNexus provides educational guidance. We can help you prepare more clearly and make better decisions; we cannot influence an admissions outcome, a UCAT score or an interview result.

• What happens to my personal statement?

  It is used to carry out the review you asked for, and nothing else. It is never sold or shared beyond the MedNexus team. The Privacy notice sets out how long we keep it and how to ask us to delete it.

• Can you help with something that is not on the list?

  Ask. Choosing where to apply, reading entry requirements honestly and sequencing the year are all part of what we do, even though they do not have a page of their own yet.
